Landscape Gallery
Landscapes give me a "sense of place." I paint "en plein air" (outdoors) I choose the location because it evokes a sense of wonder about space and nature. Sometimes the place may lead to romantic thoughts and feelings and occasionally amusement. |

Waterscape Gallery
Being around water automatically puts a sense of appreciation in my soul. How lucky I am to be able to be on eternal vacation grounds. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and spent summers at lakes in the Catskills, going over the Brooklyn Bridge and spent lots of time at Brighton Beach, Coney Island, Jones Beach and Fire Island but the opalescent, luminous, romantic healing light shining on the SW Florida waters make them the prettiest of all. |

Fishermen Gallery
Having grown up in Brooklyn I spent lots of time in Sheepshead Bay and Coney Island. I played on the jetties (rip rap). I climbed the rocks and hunted between them to find small sea creatures or fragments left behind by the ebb and flow of the tide. I'm always respectful of the fisherman's concentration. They come to fish and set their souls free for a short time. I still can't resist asking quietly "did ya' catch anything yet?" |

Famous Places Gallery
A famous place on this planet is a crossroad where people set their sight. It's amazing that one small place can evoke such special feelings and thoughts that enliven the atmosphere. |

Still Life Gallery
A thought provoking idea, a color, a texture, contrasts of them, rhythm of the light, is usually a strong reason to paint. Sometimes it takes hours or days to find the natural picture or to set up a still life in the studio or outdoors. |

Girls on the Beach Gallery
These ladies on the beach choose to have no cell phones or computers; one even uses a messenger pigeon. |

Florals Gallery
Flowers describe and reflect emotion and feelings. That is what I love to capture in my paintings. Sometimes the colors, shapes and sizes are unbelievable. That's fascinating. |

Portrait Gallery
A portrait need not to be a recognizable face but it needs to be a recognizable shape. There are many ways of doing a portrait. "Kids on the Beach" was a family portrait. Every figure in the image is part of the family. In "A Family that Plays Together" mom is walking and dad is reading and Sarah is playing in the sand. The traditional portrait is always a statement of finer things in life. |

Famous Parasol Images Gallery
Parasols epitomize romance, sensuality and elegance. In these images it also entwines the masculine and the feminine. Funny that these images can come to symbolize relationships. I use 2 glasses a man's Swiss Army watch, a man's hat or boat. Men viewers want to know "What does the lady look like?" Women viewers are her. The parasol series are seductions to stop and just sit and be. |

Nude and Figures Gallery What is more beautiful than the human figure. It can be a landscape or a still life. |

Trees and Palms Gallery
They stand still or sway with the wind and the rain and they are capable of performing graceful, beautiful or exciting movements. They dance or speak by just positioning their fronz or pointing their limbs or waving their twigs and leaves. |

Beach Scenes Gallery
Light falls so naturally to the beach and dances or floats upon the water or through it. To walk, knap, play, be-friend, and love on the beach is pure simplicity. |
